The annual report for a leading international academic science fellowship
Having worked with Schmidt Science Fellows on a number of design projects, we were commissioned to design their first annual report. The design included developing the use of the brand colour palette and typefaces to work for formal reporting content: extended prose, interview, imagery, and charts and diagrams. We advised the use of illustration for protraits of four Fellows, to give character and a distinct, eye-catching style to the case study sections of the report. Our portrait illustrations are also now used on the Schmidt Science Fellows website.
The final report was printed on uncoated stock with PUR binding. We also supplied a web pdf which included additional dynamic features not possible for print, such as links to more detailed individual Fellow profiles on the Schmidt Science Fellows website.
