Having worked with the Rhodes Trust on three editions of Rhodes Scholar, the Trust asked us to design their annual report. The brief was to include elements of design details from Rhodes Scholar such as font and typographic features as well as some page layout structures. The report was to be distinct from Rhodes Scholar but clearly utilising the same visual identity.

The content of the report is varied; from financials to Rhodes Scholar personal accounts to listings of Rhodes alumni. We were also comissioned to create an illustration to show the participation rates of giving of Rhodes alumni across the world. We developed the concept of hot air balloons above the Oxford 'dreaming spires' skyline, each balloon representing a constituency, the size and height relative to their participation rate. The illustration is a watercolour, a bold contrast from the style of the majority of the report, to offer interest and prominence to the feature.
